Kenya – A quarry rehabilitation program to protect local biodiversity
The case study paper is a description of a particular environmental issue and some facts associated with it. These facts may include causes and consequences of the issue and the policies adopted to address it. It is also possible to describe one particular policy and explain how it addresses environmental issues in one African region or country (Kenya). You may, for example, want to describe the implementation of a policy to address a particular environmental issue. The case study is a description of a known case.
The case study is not, however, a mere description of facts. Therefore, you are required to demonstrate critical thinking and analytical skills throughout the entire paper. In doing so, you are required to compare the viewpoints of different authors on a similar subject and give your own opinion about it. You are required to find different sources of information where one or more authors state their viewpoints on one particular subject relevant to your topic. To show your critical thinking, it may also be interesting to inquire about the reasons behind the opinion of the authors. The student may draw a conclusion by comparing these viewpoints and state his or her own opinion based on prior knowledge or analysis.
The case study should include the following:
– Title page,
– Abstract,
– Introduction,
– Main body of the paper composed of at least three sections,
– Conclusion and
– References.
– Written assignment format: Your case study and research proposal assignments should be in word document (.doc or .docx), double spaced except the abstract and references, page numbered and in Times New Roman 12 points.
The references should follow the APA citation format. Do not forget the in-text citation. At least 3/4 of the references should be published materials (peer-reviewed). Make sure there are enough materials to support your paper.
