Policy Analysis I Paper
Choose a current federal, state, or local issue that
directly affects public policy pertaining to the criminal justice system
(police, courts, corrections). Prepare a 700- to 1,050-word paper in which you analyze the issue and related policy.
Be sure to address to following points in your analysis:
Describe the issue and its related policy.
Is this policy a regulatory or
legislative-initiated policy?
Who initiated the issue or policy
Is there a constitutional issue (example:1st, 4th, 5th,
amendment)
How will the issue or policy affect the
community, the accused, and the victims
All individual assignments will be submitted in Word document format and will require a
minimum of two cited references.
Minimum of (2) references. References must come from the University Library and at least one (1) must be a peer-reviewed publication
